Cookie's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cookie's Story...
To adopt Cookie, please email were4dogs@gmail.com for an application. She lives in a foster home, not a shelter. No small/young children in the home due to her tiny size.

Cookie and her terrier sisters were born on Valentines Day. She is the odd sibling because she's the smallest and the only chihuahua! She weighed 1.3 pounds at her 8 week wellness exam on April 14, 2017. She's had her first vaccine and is a healthy and strong tiny girl.

Cookie's personality is starting to show now. She loves to give and receive love. She will probably weigh less than 5 pounds as an adult, maybe only 3 pounds. She needs a special person to love her and protect her always.

$350 adoption fee is tax deductible because we are a non profit charity. The adoption includes her spay when she is older at our vet, a participating vet, or at the Alabama Spay Neuter Clinic.
As an animal welfare organization, we must insure that all of our dogs never produce any offspring.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie, a Alabaster Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Alabaster, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Alabaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alabaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alabaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alabaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
