About the breed: A gentle and affectionate dog that loves children and considers themselves to be a big lap dog. They are alert, confident and loyal. They do best with training from a young age. They have a short coat requiring little grooming. They require regular exercise to prevent boredom so a fenced yard or active family is suggested. Their lifespan is 10-16 years and weight range from 60-120 pounds.
