Oreo is a Big Boy, and he will be your Big Lover if you give him a little time to get to know and trust you! Oreo is a great companion – he loves to follow you around and to be where you are all of the time. He LOVES to have a big window so he can watch what is going on outside. He loves to be scratched and he LOVES to be brushed a LOT!! He will become your best friend.
Oreo has not had the best of lives. He spent most of his young life being passed around from person to person in an apartment complex. His care and treatment were nothing any kitty should have to experience. During this time, he was teased by children, beaten up by other cats and chased by dogs. Eventually, he found his way back to his original owner who kept him in a carrier much of the time. When he was let out of his carrier, he shared an 8 x 8 foot room with his kitty mother and brother who were just as big as he was and his smaller sister, Tiny, and 2 human adults. Not surprisingly, Oreo likes his space and doesn’t tolerate dogs or other cats well. Because of Oreo’s background, it will be best that he goes to a mature cat-loving household with no children, other cats or dogs. He wants his human and his home all to himself. And at this time in his little kitty life, he deserves that.
Oreo was born approximately August 14, 2010, and his adoption fee is $55. He is neutered, up to date on shots and worming, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and is entitled to a free well exam from Mariposa Veterinary Wellness Center. See below for more about Oreo.
