McCoy's Story...
Hello! My name is McCoy and I have been looking for my forever home my entire life. I was born September 9, 2016. I think it would be great to have a home and family I could call my own. I have seen many other fosters find their forever home, even my brother, but no one has come along for me to claim.

I am a very sweet boy and I am obsessively clean. Cleaning myself, as well as everyone else, is my second favorite activity. My first is sleeping. I like to find that perfect sun beam or weirdly small place and curl up and have a nap. I do live with several other fosters but none of them compare to my sister Charleston. When it comes time to play or nap, she is who I like best. I think it would be great if I could stay with her but I will leave her if it is for the perfect home. Perhaps you could adopt us both!

My foster mom says I make an excellent foot warmer and I know there are many humans out there who have cold feet and require my services. I will warn you, I might have to clean your feet before I lay on them though.

As you can probably tell, I get along great with cats as well as people. I have not had much experience with dogs but I am sure I could come to tolerate them. I bet they could use a bath as well. If you think I would make you a wonderful sun, please consider adopting me.

I am up to date on vaccines (for my age), am neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, am dewormed, microchipped, and have been treated with Revolution.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McCoy, a Stafford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Stafford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Stafford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stafford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stafford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stafford paves the way for another one to be saved.
