Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Remi was surrendered to our foster in South Carolina when her owner decided to she didn't need her after 6 years of non-stop breeding. For her entire life she has lived in a 10 x 10 kennel, beside other dogs living in their own kennels. Year after year, caring for her puppies which were sold for profit, only to do it again. When we got Remi and set her free among the acres of fenced in land and many other dogs, we were not sure what to expect so we gave her a month to settle in before we listed her. We now know that we cannot say one bad thing about this girl. She is quiet, has never barked once. She follows the other dogs outside and is potty trained. Remi watches the horses and goats through the fence and you can tell she would just love to get to work! She watches TV at night with her foster family and during the day she sticks to her foster mom's side outside--what we lovingly term a velcro dog. She is a petite 35 lbs. Now it's time to let her go to her forever home. What do we wish for her? We would like her to be with an active family that can take her on hikes and show her the good things in life. She would just love to have a job so if you don't have farm animals she would be great to go through training for agility--or better yet--a therapy job. She is so gentle that she will just place her head on your lap. She seems afraid of cats so we can place her with them. We could go on and on, but if you think she would make your life complete, the first step is to copy and paste this link to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Remi is fine with other dogs but doesn't really know what to do with them so we would be so happy for her to be your one and only. Remi has been spayed, is up to date on shots, heart worm negative and microchipped, all included in her $350 adoption fee. Transport up north is an additional $120.
