My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AVA and SOPHIA – Miniature Schnauzer females
Bonded pair – must stay together
3 to 5 years old
Fully vetted and are chipped
These two little girls were found wandering the streets and were a total mess. They have been fully vetted, had dentals, and have been microchipped. They are well trained, know most of the ‘Lucky Dog’ common commands, and are crate trained. Although their true age is unknown, based on their energy level, and the observations of a veteran Schnauzer owner, they are estimated to be between 3 and 5 years of age. They do not have a good understanding of human beds so you will have to earn their trust and acclimate them to your inside environment. Sophia loves to sit in your lap. They are both opening up and are quite affectionate. The girls seem to be more accepting of smaller dogs but not large ones.

The foster dad, who is handling the re-homing has a few requirements:
You must be within a reasonable drive of Nashville (about 120 miles), have a fenced yard, understand they are inside dogs who need attention and affection, are little escape artists so you have to remember to keep gates and doors closed, and, most importantly, if it doesn't work out you will let me retrieve both of them, no questions asked.

As we are facilitating, we also have requirements:
Veterinary reference; two personal references; a home visit by a person involved in rescue (we will locate one in your area); to insure that Mr. Gordon’s requirements are upheld, we will provide a contract that protects all parties involved, especially the girls.
