My name is Myrtle. I am a little black cat who was once a stray. I am looking for a home with another cat. I am shy and still learning to like affection from people, but I sure do love other cats. I especially like this fluffy kid here named Hazeltine, so we could get adopted together. Hazeltine can give you cuddles while you wait for me to get cuddly. Or I can join another cat. I am skittish but not afraid to sing for my supper. I have a low, squawky meow that is pretty silly for a sweet, little girl cat like me. I like to play too, so we can bond that way.

You can come meet me at Woody's Pet Food Deli in Woodbury. Call Molly for more information at 651-295-3758 or email

NOTE: In the interest of serving as many cats as possible, Feline Rescue occasionally promotes cats being taken care of by our friends and supporters. The cat(s) in this posting are NOT Feline Rescue cats and any adoption that may occur is an arrangement strictly between two independent parties.

About Feline Rescue, Inc.

Our Adoption Process...

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. If a sponsorship fits your schedule better, you may support a cat of your choice and we will send you pictures and updates. All of our cats are feline leukemia/FIV tested, fecal tested, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and all of our kittens are vet checked, fecal checked and given their first set of shots. All receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary because we are staffed entirely by volunteers. Call (651) 642-5900 for specific times and more information.
