mittens's Story...
Meet Mittens!

Mittens is a robust 2 year old lad who is hoping his next chapter in his story will include his friend Squeak. Together they are a comical larger than life pair (each weighing over 13#!) who enjoy the finer things in life, including treats and wet food.

Both would benefit from an owner who can help whittle these two couch potatoes into their prime fighting shape- someone who will will gently encourage a little more movement in their day, and build upon those successes! If you are currently trying to lose weight and get in shape, Mittens and Squeak might be great members to add to your team! Together, you can help hold each other accountable and celebrate your victories together as the scale moves downward.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

mittens, a Muskegon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
