Como is a redbone coonhound about 4 1/2- 5 years old and 50 pounds. Como was kept isolated in his former situation, but a rescuer came to visit the shelter recently and Como came bouncing right up to the kennel door to greet her. She took him for a walk and said mostly he wanted to just be outside and do his houndy sniffing thing. Como was mildly curious about the free-roaming shelter cats, but he did not pursue. He does flail a little on the leash leash but is easily redirected and would probably get over that in a week or so of regular leash walking. He's trying his best to keep his kennel clean. Photos do not show how red he is. He is a very high mix of Redbone Coonhound and a stunning looking fella. Neutered on 10/6/2016. Volunteers report that he likes to walk and that he is getting better at walking on a leash. Como was adopted but returned when the family couldn't get him housetrained. He needs a large fenced-in yard where he can run. He is still looking for his forever home.
