Facts about Freedom

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray Or Blue
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 11285541-Freedom
  • Hair: Short
Born March 22, 2015 Polydactyl

Freedom is one of over 50 cats rescued from a hoarding situation in the area. All of the cats were friendly but they were also sick. Some of them are still trying to recover. Freedom was one of the last cats rescued from the house and his foster mom chose his name because he is now free from being hungry, cold and sick. He is lucky to be on his way to finding a loving, forever home.

Freedom is a very loving cat...maybe because he is so grateful for being rescued! He does not seem to like being around cats...wonder why?!...but he doesn't mind calm, cat-friendly dogs and he also is good with older, considerate children.

Freedom is a very pretty, solid gray, polydactyl (extra toes) kitty. If you would like to meet him please fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire and an AC PAW volunteer will contact you.

If you are interested in adopting this AC PAW pet or would like to set up a meet-and-greet please fill out our pre-adoption questionnaire at acpaw.org.

About AC PAW

About Our Rescue Group...

AC PAW started as a vision of two people, Brian Manley and June McGrath, to ensure a safe haven for animals from abuse, hunger, disease and death. AC PAW was founded to give the animals in the five-county Grand Traverse Area of Northern Michigan a second chance at life.

We are officially in our 22nd year of volunteer service and work with a handful of dedicated volunteers and a small number of donors. AC PAW began on July 1, 1995 and was officially incorporated on Jan 16, 1996. During this time we have rescued and placed over 10,000 dogs and cats into loving homes.

We are always looking for animal lovers willing to put some time and effort into volunteering or becoming a foster home. Any kind of donations (financial support or pet supplies) are greatly appreciated.
