While she hasn't necessarily been a cuddler to date, never say never! However, she does enjoy being by you on the couch to watch a movie and sleeping in bed with you at night—especially during thunderstorms! She's currently an only dog and has a little separation anxiety when her owner is working, and would flourish with a family who can give her some extra love while adjusting to her new home—as well as a doggy playmate! Because she is playful and hasn't had a lot of exposure to children, a meet and greet is recommended.
Della has come a long way in her training, and knows sit, stay, come, lay down, leave it, and down, but would still benefit from additional training classes to continue to boost her confidence. This medium/high energy girl is looking for an active family who will love her and let her be her happy, playful self!
Della’s adoption fee is $180, and she will go to her new home with all of her supplies, including grain free food, treats, toys, crate, travel crate, shampoo, blankets, leashes, harnesses, and more. She is located in Milwaukee, WI. Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
