Izzy's Story...

We love Izzy, however over the course of 4 months that we have had her we discovered that she doesnt have patience for small children. She is very hyper and loves to play. We are about to bring home a new baby and need to find a home for her. Shes a great dog, fun, amazing personality, and it breaks our hearts to have to rehome her. For her best interest and ours that is what it has come too. She needs chew toys as they entertain her for a while. She loves to play with other dogs. We take her to a doggy day care for play time and she does great. We found her in our neighbor hood about 4 months ago. Someone dumped her there. She was covered in fleas and was scared and dirty. We took her in to try and give her a good home. I had her spayed and up to date on all shots. She is also microchipped. She definitely listens to men better than women. She is a HUGE cuddler. She loves human interaction. She does get very excited and playful bite (non aggresive) to get you to play.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Izzy, a Columbus Foxhound/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound/Boxer for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Foxhound/Boxer dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound/Boxer breeders who help with Foxhound/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
