Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Allie is a super sweet 9 month old Australian Cattle Dog mix. She was transferred to Friendship with an injuried hip. Allie had surgery on her hip and was immediately placed in a loving foster home to recover. She is now healthy and back at Friendship ready to find her forever home. This is what her foster dad had to say about her... "I had her as a foster for a few weeks while she recovered from hip surgery. Her wound is healed but she needs to grow her fur back. Allie still hops on her leg but uses the limb when running and walking very slowly. She needs to redevelop strength in that limb. Allie is great with kids and adults, she does not jump up but may paw you to get your attention. She gets exited with new people hence she tends to leak (pee) a little. Allie still has some puppy traits. She is house trained but may need re-enforcing in a new home. Allie is quiet overnight in her kennel. Although she is great with people, other animals are a problem and should be in a one pet home. She is one of the smartest fosters I've had and has learned to retrieve a thrown ball in under an hour, sits, gives paw and stays at feeding with no problem. She may be great with a Frisbee once her leg recovers. Allie should be an easy first dog for any owner." She will still need to take it easy for the next few weeks while recovering. Stop by soon for the sweetheart named Allie.
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
