My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Punky and I am a 9 week old beagle mix girl. I am also as sweet and quiet as they come. My foster home has four kids who are 13, 12, 10, and 5, a 60 lb, one year old dog who is VERY bouncy, and 2 other puppies. There is a lot of activity that happens here, and it can be overwhelming for me. I enjoy spending time with my 9 week old siblings, and I don't mind the kids too much (especially the older ones), but that big, bouncy dog scares me! When he is not around, my personality has a chance to come out. I am a playful girl who enjoys cuddling close, spending time outside, and watching TV. I am interested in other dogs my own size, but really my favorite thing is spending time with people. I am a girl who loves to give kisses, too. Other than the kisses, I am more cat-like in my behavior than dog-like. The ideal situation for me would be a family who has either small dogs or no other dogs and a household that is fairly calm. I am doing well with potty training and have started asking to go outside when I need to do that. I also go willingly into the crate and can hold it all night until I go outside again in the morning.
