Description from Elmo's foster mom:
Elmo is the happiest, silliest and inquisitive 8 month old boy. Always on the go, chasing butterflies and crickets, life is a game of chasing, being chased, wrestling with his sister and playing can't get my paw with my little old terrier. Elmo is very gentle with my geriatric collie and respectful of my horse, pony and donkey. When worn out he curls up on the rocking chair on the porch. Every evening all the dogs come in, flop on the family room floor to chew on bones and steal each others toys. Before bedtime Elmo will crawl into my lap, lean back on me and throw his head over my shoulder...it's his snuggle time. He's all legs, clumsy loving and totally sweet. At 9 pm he's goes in his kennel, waits for his good night snack and then off to dreamland. Elmo would do best with an active family, older kids 7 yrs plus(smaller kids he may accidentally knock over) and a dog playmate (size doesn't matter) and an owner that has a sense of humor. He will chase cats, rabbits and chickens, does come when called, loves to go for rides and sits for treats.
Elmo is up to date on all vetting, neutered and ready for his new family. Home visit and reference checks are required and not negotiable! His adoption fee is just $175; he is fostered in Baker County. To set up a meet and sniff just email us!
