I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Bogey's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bogey's Story...
I have had Bogey since he was 8 weeks old. Got him from a breeder 4-1/2 years ago and he has been my companion since. Sadly, I have to relocate for work and will have to give him up. His ideal home would be one with a yard (preferably fenced in) or with an active owner to provide him an outlet for his high energy. He was never raised with little kids, but is a sweet dog, so I would expect him to be good with them. Bogey loves to chase down and retrieve balls, knows his basic commands (sit, down, stay), is house trained, and has good recall.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bogey, a Piedmont German Wirehaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Wirehaired Pointer for sale in Piedmont, or seeking a German Wirehaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Piedmont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Piedmont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Piedmont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Wirehaired Pointer breeders who help with German Wirehaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Piedmont paves the way for another one to be saved.
