My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is an adult Maltese mix, about 8 years of age, and weighs 9 ½ lbs. She has a soft, white coat of non shedding hair and is sporting a shorter haircut. Daisy has a very mellow, happy personality. She likes both men and women and would do best in a home without young children. She gets along fine with calm, mature dogs. Her foster mom rates Daisy as nicely house trained. She comes when called and gets very excited when it is meal time. Most of the time, Daisy is content to nap is a soft dog bed. She is a quiet dog. Her foster family has never heard Daisy bark. She enjoys going for rides in the car and is happy to just calmly settle in dog bed.
Daisy came to our rescue from a big Southern CA Shelter where she entered as a stray with an obvious eye problem (glaucoma) in her right eye. Her eye was removed at the shelter. Daisy was examined by a Veterinary Eye Specialists this week. Luckily for Daisy, she does not have glaucoma in her remaining eye. She has vision in her left eye and does not need any medication or treatment. So if you are looking for a easy going, affectionate, and friendly dog; Daisy is a great choice.
