Brandy's Story...
If you are interested in meeting Brandy, please fill out an adoption application at www.heartsforhoundsrescue.org

Brandy came to us very pregnant and gave birth to 9 little babies. It is now Brandy's turn to find true love and a forever home! Brandy is a young girl- no more than 1 year old and petite, weighing in at about 35 pounds. Brandy is a fun, outgoing, goofy dog that loves to romp in the yard and play with other dogs. She is so sweet and loves everyone she meets. Our best guess at her breed is Lab/Hound mix.

Brandy has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and is all ready for her new home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brandy, a Virginia Beach Labrador Retriever/Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Foxhound for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Foxhound dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Foxhound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
