Posey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Posey's Story...
Mom wants home of her own for Mothers Day! Unknowingly Posey came to our rescue carrying a big secret (more like 7 little secrets) and has spent the last few months raising and caring for her newborn babies. Now that they all have found fantastic furever homes she is ready to find one herself.

Posey is a 1yr old, 18lb Beagle (mix?) who is housebroken, UTD on vetting, spayed, micro-chipped, walks well on leash, does not need crated, not a big barker, and easily corrected.....

She has a very sweet disposition, Posey is outgoing and friendly with both humans and other dogs. She has the perfect energy level and is will to play or lounge all day, Posey is happy doing whatever is on the agenda. Her number 1 wish is find a home with another dog so she never feels alone.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Posey, a Columbus Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
