My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duke is 5 years old and a playful boy who gets attached easily. He would love a home where someone is there most of the time. He MUST have another dog to play with. Duke loves to cuddle. He also loves to run and play outdoors. A fenced in yard is a requirement for Duke because he does not do well on a leash. Duke needs a home without children, as he came from a background of trauma and needs a calm place to live. He will become a devoted Peke friend. He loves to play with his furry friends at his foster home and gets along well with all his doggy friends, but adorable Oreo is his best buddy! They are a bonded pair and would love to move to their forever family together. If you are interested in more information or in adopting Duke or both of these two precious boys, please fill out an application to adopt. http://www.potomacpekes.org/onlineapplicationadopt.htm. We require a vet check and a home visit. Previous experience with Pekes is always a plus! We accept applications from Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, and areas close by. Duke's adoption fee is $300, but if adopted with his friend, Oreo, their fee will be discounted.
