Facts about Uhane

  • Breed: Akita
  • Color: Black - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Uhane is an Akita who recently came to our shelter because her family couldn't take care of her anymore. She is a very playful girl. She loves the people that she knows, but she's wary of strangers. You won't have to worry about burglars! She would do best in a family without small dogs, but she seems to get along well with other dogs around her size. She would also do well in a human-only household. This beautiful girl is 3 1/2 years old.

About GRRR

About Our Rescue Group...

Founded in 2011, GRRR is a small 501(c)(3) rescue organization, which serves Savannah, Georgia and the surrounding counties. We are dedicated to rescuing small dogs from owners who are no longer able to able to care for them, from public shelters without a “no-kill” policy, and from situations where they have suffered abuse or neglect. We are committed to helping both the most needy and the more readily adoptable animals in our community.

All donations made are tax deductible, and every dollar goes directly to the care of our animals. All of our rescues are spayed or neutered, receive proper veterinary treatment, and are placed in loving foster homes while awaiting adoption.
