My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**R.I.P. OTIS** ... "Otis" is a sweet adult male kitty who arrived at the HSOV on April 18, 2017. "Otis" has a buff-and-white short smooth coat, a long tail, and a darling face with a pink nose and hopeful trusting eyes.

"Otis" was definitely in needs of some extra TLC when he was found, and our shelter staff quickly began to give him the help he needed. He was started on antibiotics for an apparent upper respiratory infection and has been receiving daily nebulization treatments as well.

"Otis" was combo tested on April 19, 2017, and he has tested positive for feline leukemia. So we will be trying to find him the perfect home (a family who has other FeLV+ cats or a rescue group who would accept him into their sanctuary).

"Otis" has been given a a nice warm bath shortly before these photos were taken. He has a lovable affectionate personality and is an easy kitty to love. "Otis" loves cat-friendly dogs as well.

Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters.
