Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue is looking for a furever family for this amazing Dane!

Hi everyone,

My name is Ghost, I'm a deaf Great Dane female and I'm learning sign language. I currently live with 5 other fur-foster brothers and sisters and a cat and I love them all.

I like playing tug-of-war and when I'm outside I like chasing them around the yard. I'm still a puppy so I have a decent amount of energy. Dad says I'm okay on a leash, but I'm still learning and would do best in home with a tall fence.

I met my nieces and nephews (humans 10-16 years old) and they were fun to play with, so dad says I'd be good with kids. Once I'm inside I'm pretty good about relaxing except the occasional zoomies.

I'm still working on potty training (80% there!) and do better when I don't have free reign over the whole house, but I do well in my house/crate during the day and/or night as long as I'm close by a fur-sibling. I don't really like being left all alone so I'd do best with another dog that I could follow and learn from and play with (did I mention I like to play?).

All in all I'm a very loving girl and not that much quirkier than the next puppy and Dad says I'll make someone super happy one day. See how cute I am!!!!

Thanks,
Ghost

About Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue - Indiana

About Our Rescue Group...

Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue (FFGDR) was founded by a small group of people dedicated to the great dane breed. Our goal is to help neglected, abandoned, and abused great danes find their forever homes while educating the public. We believe that every animal deserves a forever family to love them unconditionally for the rest of their lives.

We are a small start up group with many years of experience with great danes and rescue. Our collective experience with Dane rescue will allow us to continue our desire to make an impact on the lives of the great danes we can take in and help. Currently, we accept surrenders from families and shelters and adopt to forever homes in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and parts of Wisconsin.. With the help of our supporters, we hope to eventually grow our group, spread our message, and rescue great danes.

FFGDR specializes in great danes. We accept great danes of all ages and from all types of situations. We are not a shelter, our dogs live in foster homes as part of a family until their medical and emotional needs have been met and they are ready for their forever homes.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested applicants must complete an adoption application and pay a non-refundable $25 application fee. We verify references and then either a home check is scheduled or a letter is sent explaining that the application has been denied. Once the home check is performed and approved, the adopters are contacted by the adoption's coordinator and presented with a dog.
