My name is Olivia. I am a 1 1/2 year old, DSH Calico female cat. I came from a home where they don't think I was being taken care of. I was really scared when I first got to my foster home and I wouldn't eat much even though I was super skinny. All I really wanted was attention. I am now doing better. My appetite has improved, but I tend to eat small amounts frequently. I also tend to like to eat more at night when there is less commotion and less competition for food. I am super sweet and friendly, and will rub all over you, meowing, wanting to be petted. I am a petite girl, having the adorable face of a kitten even though I am over a year old. I like to find a quiet spot and just curl up and watch the action. I really like the cat tree at my foster home and can often be found there taking a nap. I have been around other cats, but am sometimes a little leery around them. I am good with kids and have also been around a dog and didn't seem to mind. Will you be the one to give me the loving home I deserve? If you are interested in meeting or adopting Olivia, please contact her foster, Sue at 419-250-0846.

We have several adoption events a week at various locations. Check out our calendar for details here: http://www.plannedpethood.org/events/ .

Our Adoption Process...

After you decide on the pet you're interested in, our adoption process begins. Please submit an application.

It will be reviewed by one of our volunteers. If certain and critical criteria is met, we will pass your application on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog, most likely at one of our many Adoption Events.

A home visit is also required for all of our adoptions. If you are local to the Toledo area, it will be performed by one of our volunteers. If you are long-distance, then we will need to make arrangements with a rescue group in your area. The processing of your application can take several days, so we ask for your patience.

Adoption fees depend on the specific animal.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue pet!
