Buddy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Buddy's Story...

Buddy is a gorgeous long haired GSD. He came to me last week from a shelter, A coworker has known him for some time so I decided it was best to make sure he was out of the shelter and safe. Buddy is a very calm, very loving dog. He will follow you from room to room as he loves to be near his humans. Buddy loves long walks and playing with other dogs. He has been neutered and is up to date with his shots. He does seem a bit underweight so I am making sure he eats to get his weight back on. Unfortunately I do not feel it is best for me to continue to care for Buddy. He loves being around other dogs so much and I cannot afford/ do not have room to bring in a companion animal for him. I know being in a home with other dogs will immediately improve his life and bring him happiness. Buddy is in no danger of being sent back to the shelter or put down I am simply looking to rehome him to a forever home where he can enjoy himself.

Thanks, John

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Greensboro German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
