FOXY'S STORY

FOXY ABANDONED … RESCUES TEAM UP… PRECIOUS LIFE SAVED!

On January 6th, BWF received an e-mail from a Good Samaritan that said: “My name is Cecilia and I am highly concerned because someone has let out the house bunny into the street. The poor baby looks like he is in distress. It has been really cold and raining. He looks like he has lost some weight. We own a dog and cannot have him here. Do you know a safe place that could take in this bunny? People have left food for the bunny and it seems to go eat it from time to time. I really want him to be in a safe place. Can you please help me?”

Having witnessed their incredible downtown rescue of Rosabelle, we contacted the AMAZING team from Hope for Paws for help. While Cecilia and friend helped with trapping the bunny, Loretta and Eldad rushed to the scene and got it. It’s amazing when several good forces collide, anything can happen. Any life can be saved!

It turns out, the bunny is a girl, and after a cozy night with Loretta, who named her Foxy, the sweet girl was transferred to BWF.

Yesterday Foxy was spayed and should be available for adoption in a few days. If you’re interested in giving Foxy a permanent OR foster home, please contact BWF at info@bunnyworldfoundation.org
