Trixie's Story...
Meet Trixie, this sweet little terrier mix came into our rescue with her mom and 3 brothers. Not really sure what the mix is but she sure is cute. Should be about 15 lbs when she is full grown. She is 9 weeks old now and will be availble for adoption the weekend of April 29th, 2017. These puppies will be at the La Jolla PetSmart, 8657 Villa La Jolla Dr, La Jolla, CA 92037, on April 29th, from 11:00-3:00. They will not be available to visit before then, please don’t ask. We do not do a first come first serve adoption, we review applications and match the puppy with the best home. Please submit an application for review on at our website http://www.adoptapet.com/maltese-more-rescue

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a San Diego Border Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Border Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Border Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
