Riley's Story...
Riley is a petite young cat with very unique markings. Although she is small, she hangs just fine with the big cats. She is very affectionate, has a loud purr, and a cute little squeak. Riley is most intrigued by electronics, whether it be bobbing her head back and forth while watching volleyball, or playing games for cats on her foster mom's iPad. She gets along with the other cats in her foster home, and even the family dogs, that are MUCH bigger than she is. Riley is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go!
If you'd like to talk with the foster parent to learn more about Riley, please email info@FORrescue.net. You may also complete the application at www.FORrescue.net and get things started! It isn't binding, simply a starting point. Riley is fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
