Roman's Story...
Hello! This is Roman & he is 1yo. His "owners" left him in their backyard when they moved & thankfully some kind neighbors noticed him & took him in. The neighbors also said that he was always left outside in a crate & was only allowed out to potty & then back into the crate he went :(
Because he had never been inside before, he has some work to do on basics manners. He is such a sweet guy who loves being in your lap & being pet. He has a ton of energy & will do best in a home with another playful dog, he plays all day long. He has no fear issues & loves everyone & everything. He is potty trained with a doggy door, but has some work to do on a leash still. He is a really smart dog, but has to be able to get his energy out or he won't listen & will start chewing up things (mostly shoes 😉). He really wants to find people who will care for him & love him forever. ❤️

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roman, a Mesa Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
