Bandit's Info...

I am a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bandit's Story...
Bandit is a sweet old man who is looking for a home to retire in. He was found as a stray and no one ever claimed him! He is roughly 13-14 years old, and not neutered. Although he is healthy for his age, the surgery to neuter him could be too high-risk, which is why we have made the decision not to follow through with the surgery. Don't let this make you nervous about adopting him! He is just a joy, and you can just about see his very soul through his eyes!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Pueblo Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Pueblo, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Pueblo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pueblo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pueblo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pueblo paves the way for another one to be saved.
