Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emmy is a beautiful brown tabby whose family dumped her at a kill shelter when she was just a year old because “she’s not a kitten anymore”. When she arrived at the shelter she was a sweet, friendly cat. START rescued her from that shelter but after losing her family, being moved around and having to live in a cage, poor Emmy is confused, frightened and isn’t sure whether she can trust people any more. She has become a bit hissy and growly, but she just needs a little more time to come around. Emmy will do well with a cat-savvy person who has the patience to give her the time that she needs to trust people again. Then she can go back to being the sweet little cat she is.
