Chewbacca's Story...
Chewbacca is a 2 year old Lionhead bunny in need of a new family. He has a spunky personality and will need somebody who has a lot of rabbit experience. He likely will not do well with young children and we are unsure as to how he would do with other animals. If you think Chewbacca is the perfect bun for you please come meet him today at the Lowell Humane Society.

If you are interested in adopting please visit the shelter or you may inquire via email - info@lowellhumanesociety.org or call 978-452-7781.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chewbacca, a Lowell Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in Lowell, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in Lowell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lowell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lowell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lowell paves the way for another one to be saved.
