Hey, what's up??!! My name is Rufus and I am a 1.5 year old male Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix. I had a home prior to coming into rescue but it wasn't a very good one.. Apparently after spending almost my whole life with my owner they decided I was no longer worth their time. I found myself on the road and was even hit by a car. An elderly lady found me and thought she was helping my owner out when she got me fully vetted but turned out he could care less and said "Put me back out on the road", he was probably hoping I would get hit so he wouldn't have to deal with me anymore....HOW RUDE??!! What did I do to him to deserve such a fate..to deserve such a crappy owner?
I guess it all worked out though because a rescue stepped up for me and took me in. I am now in a very loving foster home and am doing great. I have already climbed on the couch and cuddled and met the other dogs and did well with them. I am already housebroken and good with kids. My coat needs a little pampering up but I have a grooming appointment coming up to get me nice and cleaned up. I have a beautiful badger face and a really soft coat. I am a very sweet guy who just wishes to please and wants to be loved on. I am on the calmer side but love to explore and look forward to see what life has in store for me! It would be awesome if my new family were looking for a super soft, cuddle bug who will be their most loyal and greatest best friend ever!
