Pickle's Story...
Pickle was surrendered to animal control when their his family moved to an apartment and were not able to keep all of their dogs. He is a very small Chihuahua around 3 years old and weighing 5 pounds. Pickle is very sweet, and gentle. He is behaved in the house, but may need a bit of house training. Pickle loves to lay in your lap and sleep under the covers with you. I have not seen him play with toys or other dogs. Pickle is small and delicate. He needs a home without small children or large dogs that could accidentally hurt him. Pickle must be an indoor dog where he is inside as a loved member of the family. He needs a fenced yard or to be walked on a leash. Pickle is very small and he cannot be left outside unattended because of predators and raptors.

Pickle is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and current on heartworm and flea preventative. Pickle has a $80.00 adoption fee. Please contact Marianne at 2 Many Dogs for an adoption application if you are interested in adopting Pickle.

We do adopt out of state and dogs are shipped to the northeast via ground transport for a total cost of $400.00 (including adoption fee).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pickle, a Wallis Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Wallis, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Wallis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wallis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wallis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wallis paves the way for another one to be saved.
