Mr. Magoo is doing great in his foster home. He is very loving and enjoys being petted. He seems to like being held on a lap, and when petted with start a gentle purr. He is cautious when walking around, which we would expect of a blind cat, but he has no problem finding his litter box. When feeding, we normally tap the spoon on the side of the dish to help guide him. We suggest a quiet home with no young children.
To learn more about how wonderful blind cats can be as pets, see Gwen Cooper's book and UTube video at Homer's Odyssy.
Mr. Magoo was born in April 2009. He has been neutered, tested negative for FIV and FELV, is current on vaccinations, and has been micro chipped.
