Murphy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Murphy's Story...
This cuddly-soft ,creamy, little lab mix of cuteness is MURPHY. He will be available for adoption 4/27. He will be 10 weeks old. At 9 weeks, he weighed 15 lbs, so we believe he is going to be a larger boy. Murphy is living with foster friends and enjoys playing with the big dogs. He doesn't quite know what to make of cats- just confused at what they are! Murphy is doing very well with his potty training. He sleeps thru the night with no accidents, in his kennel or not. Murphy LOVES kids! If you are looking for a dog that can grow up with your children, Murphy may be the perfect pup! He loves his play time just as much as he loves his cuddle time! Murphy is neutered and has had his first set of vaccinations. If you are interested in seeing if Murphy is a fit for your family, please fill out an adoption survey on our FB page (Forever Friends Canine Rescue) under 'notes' and send to Rescue@idahodogs.org. Any questions about Murphy can be directed to Rescue@idahodogs.org also. Meet and greets will be scheduled starting 4/27.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murphy, a Meridian Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
