My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to KAISER!
Kaiser is a 1 year old, 25 pound, neutered male mix breed. He has the appearance like a wire haired terrier or schnauzer. He was found as a stray in South Texas and found himself in the Lytle TX facility. His family never came forth to claim him, so we are in quest of his forever home.

Kaiser does well in a crate and has done very well with potty training. Once he learns the schedule, he does all his business outside. He is okay on a leash and is improving each day. He has short, wiry hair, and is low shedding and easy maintenance. Kaiser gets along with most dogs, but may be picky about who he likes. He can be a bit bossy and shows his alpha side around some other males. Kaiser, in typical terrier fashion, is not a fan of kitties! He seems to sense what is expected of him. Kaiser is smart and would greatly benefit and do well in an obedience class. He would love an active person or family to spend time with.

Kaiser is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and micro-chipped. He comes with a health certificate.

Kaiser's preferred home has a secure fenced in yard he can play in supervised, an active person to bond with, no other dogs (or a confident female furry friend to pal around with), no cats, and no children under 6 please.

Kaiser is currently in a foster home in San Antonio TX and can be transported to your area once adopted.

Local adopters must meet same requirements as out of state adopters.

Adoption fee is $170, and transport fee to the East coast via Rescue Road Trips is $185.
