Leroy is a sweet, sensitive, loyal and playful dog.
Loves to cuddle and bury himself under covers.
He runs a little cold so wouldn't mind a sweater.
He is calm and mellow at home and loves to have his belly rubbed. But when it's time to go to the park to play with other dogs he gets so excited!
He loves socializing and playing with other dogs and tries hard to find a suitable match to chase or be chased by.
He's made a lot of friends at the park and smiles the whole time he's there! He sticks close by me except when distracted by another dog, but he always comes back to check on me and comes when called.

He can be vocal when someone is at the door or when you initially leave him alone so apartment life is not for him. He is still working on going through the dog door, he doesn't seem comfortable using his face to push open the flap or even a cracked door. He's a bit timid around strangers, but we are working on that too.

He would do best with an active family with another dog around his same size & energy level. I also think he would love going to doggie day care. He really would love living with at least one other dog.
