My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION PENDING

Gunner is a 1 year old mantle male with natural ears. He came to rescue from a shelter, and came in weighing only 82 pounds. You can count every rib and vertebrae. His skin is dry and flaky and his oat is very thin and coarse. Some good food, and lots of it, will help improve his weight, skin and coat. Gunner needs the most help with his other condition, cherry eye. He has cherry eye in both eyes. the cherry eye in his right eye is much more prominent and at times covers part of his pupil. The cherry eye in his left eye was operated on once, but the procedure did not hold and it has come back. Gunner is unknown with other dogs but a solid yes for cats. He is eager to please and loves humans. While in foster care, Gunner is eating multiple small meals a day. This is to slowly improve his physical condition. Gunner was kept in a crate designed for a large dog, and not for a Great Dane, so Gunner needs to learn how to stand straight and fully extend himself. Physical therapy is a must for him to strengthen and straighten his posture. He should have plenty of room to run and play.
