My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Terriers are deservedly known as a great breed of dog! Of utmost importance...they are famous for their great temperaments, intellect, love of fun and extremely snuggly ways. They're also known to be trustworthy and very gentle with family members and other family pets. Milo is a great representative of this loving and family-oriented breed...he absolutely loves being with his people...if a walk is the order of the day - count him in! Milo would be overjoyed to take a hike through the Colorado mountains...and then crash on the couch snuggling close to his favorite humans and canines. Milo is an absolutely adorable and engaging guy who favors the intellect and entertaining character of the Terrier breeds.

Milo's New Mexico rescuer had the following to say about this incredible guy:

Milo is the sweetest baby with an easy going personality and a medium level of energy. He does love to play and take walks (we're working on his leash skills and he's coming along), but he also loves to cuddle and have his tummy scratched. Milo gets along really well with our three smaller dogs and did great when our twelve year old grandson was visiting. We crate him at night next to our bed, and he sleeps quietly through the night. Milo doesn't really require a crate since he's completely house trained and respectful...so I know he's going to be sleeping in bed with us before you know it.

Milo would fit in nicely with any family since he's an incredibly sweet and loving guy! He would enjoy the attention and full-time company of retirees and they would love him as well. He's an amazing lap-dog and a wonderful and loyal best friend. I think that Milo would also be very happy playing with older, dog-crazy kids. He would appreciate their love of fun and then cuddling in bed with them through the night.

Milo is a very lightly shedding pup right now..once he's on a regimen of very healthy food for a while and his sad shelter hair grows out, Milo will have one of the most beautiful, non-shedding coats around. He will therefore require a commitment to periodic grooming to keep his coat healthy, cottony-soft and matt-free.

Milo is such a wonderful being...we think he represents the best qualities of the Terrier breeds. At just about 9 - 12 months old and 14 lbs, Milo seems to be healing from his experiences..each day he's blossoming just a little more. Milo is becoming a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please - the happier his family is with his behavior, the more he shines with his accomplishments. We would like to see Milo in a home that includes him in family time and activities...he's engaging and would thrive in a family that truly loves him and considers him a very important member.

Milo will be arriving on transport in Denver on Saturday 4/29/17. If interested in this very sweet guy who is full of love and personality, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730.
