Meet Max! This handsome man is in need of a forever home where he can run and play and snuggle to his heart's content. He has been living in an apartment with long days alone and his owner knows that he needs a home with a yard for him to run in.
At 44 lbs and about 3 years old, Max is going to make a wonderful addition to the family that opens their hearts to him -- he is old enough to be past the bad puppy phases, but young enough to run and play with them. He has lots of love to give and wants to be a lap dog.
Max was rescued from a shelter in January. We do not know how he ended up in the shelter or how long he was there. We just know that we want to help him find a permanent home because he's had enough change in his life. He is very friendly and gets along well with other dogs. He has not been around cats while in his rescuer's care, so we do not know how he is with them. He is great with kids, but does still need to learn not to jump -- so younger, timid children might find him to be too rowdy. He's working on learning not to jump on people in his foster home.
