WALKER HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. Walker says "Put me in coach--I'm ready to play--today!!" Walker is a bright-eyed and alert 2 year-old Mountain Cur/Lab mix male who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded rural county dog shelter and is eager to find a home of his very own. We don’t have any history on his previous life but we suspect he lived his life outdoors. His ears may be a little ragged around the edges but this sweet dog has a heart of gold. Walker’s now used to indoor life since he’s been with us and has done very well on crate-training and housetraining in his foster home. He's a very friendly boy, both with people and other dogs. Walker's a strong, exuberant boy on the leash and does well on an EZ Walk harness when out for a walk. He would love to be challenged in an obedience class with his new family and is eager to please so working with him should be a rewarding experience. He’s looking forward to experiencing how wonderful a dog’s life can and should be with his new family. Walker weighs about 41 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in Walker. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
