Zusi's Story...
Zusi and her siblings were an "accidental" litter on a farm in New Mexico. The owner of the mom didn't want the puppies so asked us to take them. Luckily she is letting us get her mom dog spayed so this doesn't happen again, but we agreed to take these 9 babies in a find them wonderful homes before she dumped them at a rural animal shelter.

All of these babies are adorable! Mom was a Border Collie and we believe dad was a Cattle dog/Corgi mix. We believe these babies will be between 20-30lbs, but can't make any guarantees. They are all so sweet and fluffy! Some of the cutest puppies we have ever had! They are about 7.5 weeks old right now and will be ready for adoption the weekend of 4/29. We are accepting application for them now so they can be adopted over the weekend once they are ready.

We would love to see them each go to a home with a family who is ready and prepared for a puppy. A family who has time to train and socialize a puppy and take them to puppy training classes. They are all SO sweet and we want to keep that going in the right direction.

If you are interested in adopting one of these adorable 9 puppies, please email us for an application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zusi, a Boulder Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
