Ernie's Story...
Remember Bert and Ernie? Well this little guy is just like Ernie...super cute and super sweet. Only problem he has now is he is looking for his own Bert. Someone to be his best friend and someone to share his day with. He loves other dogs, people of all ages and seems to be eager to learn new tricks. He is only 10 pounds as of 4/21 but is growing fast so we believe he will be a medium or possibly large dog. His coat is black and adding to his cuteness is a white chest and white toes. He was born Feb. 18th and is a Lab mix. This puppy is ready for your visit so make your appointment real soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ernie, a Fairfax Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Fairfax, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Fairfax.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairfax already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairfax breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairfax paves the way for another one to be saved.
