Remy's Story...

My daughter adopted Remy about two months ago from Rockdale Animal Control. He is approximately one year old. He is very sweet, loving and loves to play with other animals and people. He is part german shepard and looks like a german shepard but not as big or as heavy. My daughter is a fire fighter and has been working a lot more hours than originally expected. He is housed trained but has to stay in the crate while we are both at work. This is really not fair to him, He needs a good home where he can get lots of attention and he will return it.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remy, a Conyers German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Conyers, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Conyers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conyers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conyers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conyers paves the way for another one to be saved.
