My story

Tara is a very sweet and shy little girl.  She is a very pretty 6 year old that weighs 5.5 pounds.  She likes to be around other dogs and will need at least one in her new  home.  She often shares a bed with one of the other dogs.  Tara sleeps in the big bed right next to foster mom under the covers.  She uses puppy pads in the house and is learning to go outside.  She loves attention and wags her tail when you call her name.  She sits on the couch with foster mom and the other dogs.  She likes to be petted and accepts all attention given to her.
 
She does not easily accept new situations and has to be introduced to them slowly.  She is scared of any type of loud noise, and she will duck her head and run.  A quiet home is a must for Tara, and young children would scare her.  She seems to want to chase cats.  She is slowly learning to walk on a leash, but right now needs a fenced yard so she will go outside to potty.  She rides well in the car.
 
Tara arrived at SCMR with Tucker, another Yorkie, they are not bonded and do not seek each other out to the exclusion of the other dogs in the house. 
 
If a cuddle bunny is what you seek, Tara will give you lots of cuddles. 
 
She is being fostered in Atlanta, GA.
