My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FINDING NEMO a new home is the next step. Nemo is ready for his new home. As some may remember, Nemo was an found at a shelter who was going to euthanize him due to some medical issues. Nemo was hit by a car, which pushed one of his eyeballs back into the socket. Nemo needed surgery to have his eye removed. Plus, he suffered from really bad skin allergies that were hard to control at first. Now, Nemo has recovered from his eye surgery for the removal of his eye and with much research and help from our holistic veterinarian, Nemo's skin allergies have improved tremendously with surprisingly little effort-just weekly baths and special, non-prescription food Nemo is good with other dogs, but tends to be a bully with no back up. He would prefer a home where he is the only one getting a lot of attention. Nemo walks well on lead, does well with children, men and women and is a nice boy to take on mini trips to the dog stores or a stroll around the neighborhood. He quite loves and totally digs his foster moms attention (and treats).

Nemo would be a great family pet for a family with older children or a family member for a single person looking for companionship and to share their home with a most deserving boy. Nemo will have to be fed a special diet, take daily probiotics and will need to be bathed at least once a week with a special shampoo (all which are not very costly). Nemo is 4 years old, neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and weighs about 85 lbs. If anyone is interested in helping this boy with his forever home and will take care of his little needs, please fill out an application and request him in the notes section.
