Additional info: Amaretto is high energy but also knows how to chill when you do. He is very loving and cuddly and just great with kids and dogs. Amaretto is sharing his foster home with another dog and he is resource guarding his crate and toys if the other dog gets too close but he pays attention when corrected. He is also crate trained. Amaretto is super smart and not at all aggressive. Amaretto is very well behaved when he is brushed. His coat was in bad shape when he came to us, very matted, but he is starting to look like a new man as he thrives in foster care. He sheds lightly. He may be a little shy at first but he is generally good about meeting new people and once he opens up, is a gentle little soul who is good with other dogs and loves everyone. He loves to play fetch and play with squeaky toys. He is great on the leash and is an all around wonderful little guy.
