My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✰✰ RODNEY Male approximately 11 years & AVAILABLE - for more photos of RODNEY please click http://norcalbcrescue.org/rodney_2017.html ✰✰

Hi! My name is RODNEY, though some people call me Buddy. I was born about 11 years ago. I came to rescue about this time last year to take care of a nice older lady named Alice. The rescue people said I could stay with her as long as she was able to do things for me that we dogs can’t do ourselves. Unfortunately the time came a couple months ago so it’s time for these folks to find me a forever home. They said I had to lose some weight before I could be adopted, so I have worked really hard to shed 12 pounds. I weigh 58 pounds and it's really helped me to get around a lot easier.

I was happy as the only dog in the house, but as long as someone is around to pet me, love on me and adore me it’s cool if you have other dogs. There are five others here. Cats are no problem either. I like staring at them a little but that’s about it. I am house trained and crate trained. I even use the doggie door when I have to go outside. I’ll lie in the crate any time you want, but if you forget about me, or if something is going on, I’ll bark some to make sure you know I am here. They say I make a good guard dog as I hear everything going on outside and will let you know what I hear! Just say my name and I’ll quiet down. They leave the crate door opened at night so I can go in if I feel like it, but mostly you'll find me on the big cushy dog bed. I am just a nice boy who wants to hang out and be loved. Thanks for reading my story.
