My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Wimpy (definitely not a name I chose and some of the volunteers don't like it either so they call me Wally - but Gail still calls me Wimpy!) who is believed to be 6-1/2 years old as of February 2017. The vet doesn't really know what breeds I have in me so I am listed as a "medium mix" but I think I look like a Terrier mix. I weigh approximately 25 pounds.

I am a little shy at first - like just the first minute - then I warm right up and I want to be your best buddy. I am learning how to walk on a leash, but darn it, sometimes I like to just fall down and roll over on my back for some tummy rubs! (Oh, and I am not a fan of sitting still for my pictures.) I am trustworthy to stay in the yard at the rescue so I have free reign when outside. I will adapt to whatever your living situation is though.

Please don't pass by me just because of my name!

I was found abandoned and rescue by some nice people. No family came forward so I arrived at Gail's Pets. I am meeting all of the volunteers and the other dogs here. It's a nice place but I'd really like a family to call my own. Perhaps that would be with you?

Wally (Wimpy) resides at a rescue organization in Arkansas. Please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229, or via email at gailspets@hotmail.com to discuss this dog. You can find our adoption application by going to www.Gailspets.org and clicking on the Adoption Application tab. The application, when completed and submitted, will be electronically sent to Gail’s email address.
